It's the time of balance and new beginnings, letting things go that no longer serve us. Autumn is on its way and we will be exploring the change of season with imagery of turning leaves, shorter days & longer nights, warm food and colours of orange, reds, greens and brown. Tune into nature and your own rhythms.
Equinox "The word “equinox” comes from Latin aequus, meaning “equal,” and nox, ”night.” On the equinox, day and night are roughly equal in length. As we turn into Autumn the southern hemisphere approaches spring. During an equinox, the sun crosses what we call the “celestial equator”—an imaginary extension of Earth’s equator line into space. The equinox occurs precisely when the Sun’s centre passes through this line and for brief period days and nights are of equal length the world over."
