In a constantly unfolding life... weather.. time.. self-care changes continuously. I always think I am doing well until I find a way to do a bit better.
This week unrolling my yoga mat in the shade every morning before breakfast has brought calm. It's a 15-minute practice of breath, movement and meditation but it makes all the difference to the body and mind.
The other difference is that for my abhyanga I have switched to all coconut oil as it is it cools the system. (Also makes the skin so soft and velvety too).
What are your self-care practices at the moment and are you getting them in?
It's often me that drops to the bottom of the list amongst everyone else's needs. But not anymore. It's a bit like putting your oxygen mask on first, so that you can then be resourced enough to help others.
I'd love to hear what you do for self-care.
In the Flow collective, I have been learning a lot of new things too and look forward to sharing them with you. Am also enjoying doing some tailored 1:1 sessions.
Keep well all
I am off to California on Monday.
Here is the artist and my friends Sarah Duncan's amazing full moon print.
Full moon and practice on this evening if you can get away.
