'Autumn to winter, winter to spring,
Spring into summer, summer into fall -
So rolls the changing year, and so we change;
Motion so swift, we know not that we move.'
Dinah Mulock Craik
The season is changing and the invitation to change is here too, to listen and feel in the present, to taste and smell, reflect... Autumn is a celebration of Summer and a call to quieter times in a fanfare of colour.
The things I love about yoga are practising it and teaching it.
Rolling out a mat, creating an oblong of colour and then getting on to move, breathe and meditate, is it for me. That rectangle is a world all of its own, a place for solace and connection.
I realised I don't love the business/marketing side of running a yoga business. It has been sucking my joy and this is a call to change. I don't know exactly how yet, but change is needed.
After a bit of summer burnout, (for me, maybe you too?) I know that self-care is everything. It is yoga, reflection, nature, time alone and with good friends, inspiration,and herbs that bring me home to a better self.
A friend posted 'If you don't take time for wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness'
My hope is that I can be a part of your self-care and share a love of yoga.
I invite you to consider a monthly pass - 4 classes in 4 weeks, lowest in person price.
Money is hard for some right now, including me, so please email me if finances are hard and I will help to make yoga possible for you.
Keep moving, keep changing, keep growing.
If you are one of my Ashton students I miss you...
Today Sundays Mindful Hatha Flow 9.45-11am Yin and Nidra and Well Woman - Peri&Menopause classes all recommence this week. Sending love Nicola
