Week of last new moon of the Year

I am loving the early morning yoga classes, we actually watch the sun come up together. These frosty mornings are very atmospheric and the best time of year to watch the sunrise and set as the rise is late enough that we can be awake and the set is early enough that we can watch it descend. As you gaze up into the night sky this evening gaze at the last new moon of the year. This one for me is around the cycle of how to mantain health whilst creating joy and celebrating what winter gives us. Our last few weeks of yoga have been extra nourishing and yoga practice too moves with the seasons, there are warming, balancing and calming breaths. Practices close to the ground to keep us grounded and the energy preserved and topped up. There are also evenings of friends, cups of hot chocolate, wreath making (see mine below thanks Clare x), hot baths, singing and sharing a meal together.

Tonight our practice will be inviting you to find what you need for the next cycle of how to keep sustained and nourished. And I will provide the yoga to help you along. Join us for a mindful moving practice at 6.30pm or a deep and nourishing practice at 7.50pm. Both at Quaker Hall or online/recorded.

All my best Nicola
